REPLIKAS arises from the oral compositions of ECHOLALIA: voices that improvise, drift, and only later settle into verbal scores. Some REPLIKAS “make the paintings speak,” allowing them to step forward in the first person.
Placed on the floor, layered over other works, or suspended in space, they circulate more than they ever hold still.

REPLIKAS naît des compositions orales d’ECHOLALIA : des voix qui improvisent, dérivent, puis se déposent, après coup, en partitions verbales.
Certaines REPLIKAS « font parler » les peintures, qui s’avancent alors à la première personne. Posées, superposées ou suspendues, elles circulent plus qu’elles ne se fixent.
