N.Lichtig, DICTÉE, oil on canvas, 55 x 46 cm, 2024 – ongoing

DICTÉE : for each painting a word is listend to repeatedly and reacted to. Its sound and rythm  guide the composition which is split in an 'open-up', and a 'close-up'. The paintings are the proposal of a physical, gestual 'translation' of a word, freeing the word of its sense.
