Written languages are gradually veiled in gold leaf, initiating a gesture of both preservation and erasure. The title plays on the French words volé (stolen) and voilé (veiled): letters that disappear are both taken away and covered over. This double movement — theft and concealment — questions the visibility of language itself. What is lost to sight may persist as resonance or memory. Through this shimmering opacity, LETTRES VOLÉES turns writing into a silent image, suspended between disappearance and revelation.

Les langues écrites se voilent peu à peu de feuilles d’or, initiant un geste à la fois de préservation et d’effacement. Le titre joue sur le double sens de volé et voilé : les lettres disparaissent en étant à la fois dérobées et recouvertes. Ce double mouvement — vol et voile — interroge la visibilité même du langage. Ce qui se perd à la vue persiste peut-être comme résonance ou mémoire. Dans cette opacité miroitante, LETTRES VOLÉES transforme l’écriture en image silencieuse, suspendue entre disparition et révélation.
