EN

For DARK MATTER and its large-scale counterpart EVENT HORIZON, ink and charcoal seep through the weave of printed fabric — silkscreened fabric printed from images of the HEADLESS painting series (see monograph). The support is porous, the image no longer belongs to a single side. Hung recto-verso, the works allow visible and hidden to coexist within the same surface. Pigment passes through the weave, reappearing altered. Opacity becomes a condition of relation rather than concealment – the surface acting as a membrane rather than a screen.
