N.Lichtig, Gossip as Testimony, (print, pencil and watercolor — on A4 sheets, sound pieces—variable sizes, printed on vynil each, performance—variable length), 2015 — ongoing

 

Gossip as Testimony is an ongoing archive of quotes. The series accompanies my readings, it is a reading diary. The quotes are printed on paper which I then draw on, "fixing" the quote by associating it to a form/color. This makes it possible for me to recognize them from afar, as I use this collection as a score for a performance: pinned on the wall, all the quotes are accessible by view. I pick some and combine them by voice. After a while the improvisation will become "song" which I record and grave on vynil.
